PREPARATION & SECTIONING
The hair must be clean, dry, and free of oily products. Ceate a precise horizontal division in the desired area, ensuring that the line is perfectly straight.
PLACEMENT TECHNIQUE 1
Remove the strip off our medical-grade tape and place it on top of the sectioned hair, approximately 1/4” from the root. Then press the tape firmly (we find it easier to do this with our thumbs) in place.
We love our tape since it picks up the right amount of hair, however depending on the density of the client’s hair, make sure to remove any excess hair that is not fully attached to the tape when lifting it up.
PLACEMENT TECHNIQUE 2
Now, proceed and position the bottom piece, ensuring that it is perfectly aligned with the top piece, this will prevent slippage.
SECURELY SEAL
Once both pieces are positioned to seal, use our professional pliers—exclusive to this system. Apply firm, uniform pressure along the entire length of the tape. This step secures the medical-grade adhesives in place, ensuring that the extension does not detach during washing and remains sealed, with no risk of slipping.
FINISHING STEP
Continue the process following a symmetrical layout, always leaving a safety perimeter to ensure the extensions remain invisible when styling or tying up the hair.

For the most secure and seamless application, we highly recommend having a certified stylist install your tape-ins. They will carefully "sandwich" a thin section of your natural hair between two lightweight, medical-grade adhesive tabs for an invisible finish.
There’s no need to wash them beforehand! Your extensions arrive perfectly clean, conditioned, and ready for your stylist to apply right out of the box. (Note: Just ensure your natural hair is clarified and free of heavy conditioners right before your appointment).
Since your tape-ins are semi-permanent, you'll wash them alongside your natural hair. To maintain the integrity of the adhesive bonds, we recommend washing 1 to 2 times per week using sulfate-free products, and avoid applying heavy conditioners directly to the tape tabs.
Gently squeeze out excess water with a towel—never rub. It is crucial to blow-dry the root area where the tape bonds sit on a low or medium heat setting to prevent the adhesive from loosening. The lengths of the hair can then be air-dried or blow-dried as you prefer.
Because your tape-ins stay beautifully secure day and night, we suggest brushing them gently and tying them into a loose braid or low ponytail before bed. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase will also help prevent friction, keeping both your natural hair and extensions healthy.
With proper care and gentle sulfate-free products, your premium Remy hair extensions can be reused and stay vibrant for 4 to 6 months. Your stylist will simply need to remove, re-tape, and "move them up" every 4 to 8 weeks as your natural hair grows.
For a flawless, discreet transition, we recommend having at least 4 to 6 inches of natural hair. This ensures your own hair can comfortably cover the flat adhesive tabs.
