For the safest and most secure application, we highly recommend having a certified stylist install your micro loops. They will use the pre-attached loop to gently thread your natural hair through the discreet, silicone-lined bead, clamping it securely in place without any heat or glue.
There’s no need to wash them beforehand! Your extensions arrive perfectly clean, conditioned, and ready for your stylist to apply right out of the box. (Note: Just ensure your natural hair is clarified and completely free of heavy conditioners or oils right before your appointment).
Since these are semi-permanent, you'll wash them alongside your natural hair. We recommend washing 1 to 2 times per week using sulfate-free products. Be sure to avoid applying heavy conditioners or hair oils directly to the micro beads at the root, as this can cause them to slip.
Gently squeeze out excess water with a towel—never rub. It is crucial to thoroughly blow-dry the root area where the beads sit on a low or medium heat setting to prevent moisture buildup inside the rings. The lengths of the hair can then be air-dried or blow-dried as you prefer.
Because your extensions stay beautifully secure day and night, we suggest brushing them gently and tying them into a loose braid or low ponytail before bed. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase will also help prevent friction and tangling, keeping both your natural hair and extensions healthy.
With proper care, gentle brushing, and sulfate-free products, your premium Remy hair extensions can be reused and stay vibrant for 4 to 6 months. Your stylist will simply need to unclamp the beads and "move them up" closer to your scalp every 6 to 8 weeks as your natural hair grows.
